AgSnO2
Features
AgSnO2is one kind of electrical contact materials that the SnO2 (powder, fiber or dendritic crystal), which has high melting point and wear-resistance, dispersed or gradient distributed in silver matrix. It has the following merits:
(1) Excellent arc resistance. The second phase SnO2 is difficult to decompose in arcing as it has high decomposition temperature (Td=2373°C). The dispersed SnO2 particles keep high viscosity which decrease the amount of silver splashed from molten pool that emerged in the working area in arcing.
(2) Good fusion welding resistance. The second phase SnO2 has good thermal stability and thereby don’t generating AgSn alloy in working face. As a consequence, the material has good fusion welding resistance.
(3) Low material migration. AgSnO2 has low material migration in high inrush current situation. This makes it possible to use AgSnO2 widely in DC condition.

1. AgSnO2-MBE
The oxide particles were distributed in fiber-like structure.

The product is mainly applied in medium-current or under-current contactor or relay.
2.AgSnO2-BEW
Compared with AgSnO2-MBE, this kind of AgSnO2 has better fusion welding resistance and short circuit breaking capacity.

The product is mainly used in contactor, relay, and inductive loaded appliance with current 32A or above. And it can meet different AC3\AC4 testing requirements.
3.AgSnO2-AOE
The material has good fusion welding resistance and short circuit breaking capacity.

The product is mainly applied in contactor, relay and the like. The current is normally above 32A. And it can meet the requirements of AC-3 or AC-4.
